Mexican Meatballs And Rice

Meatballs usually are seen in Italian restaurants and cuisines. However, if you love meatballs you should try out Mexican meatballs. They are very popular Mexican food and tend to be served with rice to get a mouthwatering dinner.

Ingredients needed:

Chopped meat
Onion
1 egg
4 tomatoes
1 cup of rice
Rice seasoner
Tomato sauce

Instructions:
Place the chopped meat completely de-frozen on a bowl. Chop half an onion in very small pieces and add it to the chopped meat. Next, add the egg into the combination. Now mix everything until the egg makes the mix sticky. Heat a pan and add olive oil into it. Make small to medium balls from the mix. Place all the meatballs and fry them on all sides. While the meatballs are frying, chop four small tomatoes; blend it until there are not any chunks left. And then add 5 tablespoons of tomato sauce to make it not too liquid. Add the sauce to the frying meatballs.

Now the rice: Heat a deep pan and add olive oil. When it's very hot, add the rice and fry it to a brown golden color. And then add 1 1/2 cups of water and the rice seasoner or just salt and pepper. When the water is almost evaporated, add corn and frozen peas, or just leave it plain. When the water evaporates completely, the Mexican meatballs and rice is ready to serve.
